Last week of college, and handing in all finished work, thats submitted to my gallery, so take a look. Its been a bit of a strange year, a lot has changed, some good, some bad. But I'm sure its all for a reason. Cant wait for Uni now, and to get more ideas flowing and producing even better art work there.

Also recently published a book "The Kelpie's Pearls" by Mollie hunter, where i had the privileged of joining a team from Napier university and creating illustrations for this book, that was published 19th May 2011. Was the best experience ever and even got to do book signings Cant wait for more opportunities like this, and see what i come up with next.

At the moment i am working on a project with the theme of The Exquisite Corpse. If you don't know what this is, its basically that game you played (well I did anyway) when you were little, and you drew a head and then folded it over and then someone else drew the body and then folded that over and someone drew the knees. And so on, and when unfolded it reviled a rather odd person (if confused look here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exquisit… ) I have looked into this a lot and found many projects that people have been working on where they have collaborated many different artists, getting them to draw a figure of anything they wished in what ever medium and then cutting a digital form of it up and muddling them around to make "exquisite corpse" like pieces of work. As part of my project i would love to do a collaboration like this. Obviously not for my final as it has to be my own art work but as an experiment i would love to have other peoples work where they will be fully recognised for it. DeviantART i thought would be a good place to start and if you follow me at all have a look at this and get back to me if you like that idea and would like to get involved

Also got into Aberdeen University today

Santa has been very good to me and brought me a very very nice clean portfolio case. Im sad i know, but its made me so happy. My work looks awesome in it, with its little glossy sleaves inside and also a graphics tablet that i am still learning to use, and hopefully upload some images i am working on soon from it.

Day 5 of being snowed in, and i thought it would be a total skive, but ive been good and got more work done than i have this whole year so far. Fianl piece wise. YEY
So i now have lots for this exhibiton coming up, and for my portfolio. And it actually shows my personality in my work, unlike a lot of other pieces ive done the past year or two.

But unfortunatly back to work tomorrow as the roads are getting cleared, but im going to try keep up this work flow as its working out well for me
and keep watching Dexter in the background

After a long time of sitting thinking of what to do i have finaly found something. Our falkland palace exhibition has changes to inside at the Merkat shopping centre Kirkcaldy, which is much better as its going to be held in January and the snow has already started. So working on many piece just now based on cows/ mixed media/ photography and what ever i feel like really.
Should be fun.

Oh and recently had an enquiry  about someone buying my work YEY
